Review of last years work - Charlotte Clifton

I am proud of the film that our group produced last year, as I felt it followed the conventions of real thriller films, it was entertaining and our lighting and shots were really effective. The sound could've been improved in places, for instance the music we used in the party scene I didn't feel was as fitting as it could have been, and we could have been more intricate on using sound effects to make our piece sound more professional. I think our choice of location for the scenes were both spot on, but I'd like to be a bit more experimental with our setting this year, as well as with most things - shot types, editing, plot - I think experimenting will create an interesting and unique piece of film work. For experimental work to be a success, Josh and I need to master camera work, the editing software and all the other bits and bobs that come with creating the film - mise en scene design, sound design etc.  I think that our blog needed more work - there was no constant update with our new ideas and thoughts on our work, and this let the blog down. This year I want to try and post an update every day so the blog is full of all the ideas that will make our film more effective than last years.
